OH what FUN! a very snowy day, we had a PARTY! Party in December 2013 These are the cards we made. We also made recipe boxes, exchanged recipes, made a tea lite snowman and a angel tree topper.
But wait there’s more we had a pot luck & prizes too!
We used the Starburst technique again, it’s just so versatile. We used the Ruffle Stretch Trim (but do not stretch it, it will pop off), Winter Frost DSP (in the Holiday Catalog) White and Coastal Cabana Card stock plus some silver glitter paper, Festive Flurry Framelits Die, Northern Flurry embossing folder, Rhinestones and Pearls too! Very elegant !
Vintage Card: White, Soft Suede card stock, Crochet Ribbon, Large Pearl, Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (holiday catalog).
Very vintage, pretty and soft looking.
The Tree Folk Art, Core’dinations Card Stock (sandable and we did), Dictionary stamp or Newsprint DSP, Fancy Fan & Woodgrain embossing folder and Adorning Accents Edgelits, sponges for the edges and dusting the tree. Some used Candy Dots on the tree. Old Fashion looking, more Manly than the rest. This was a fun one to design.
The Wreath card was made using the 1 1/4″ scallop circle punch ( you need 12 punches) & the Bird Builder punch, White, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card stock, the Northern Flurry embossing folder, a spritz of silver and Baker’s Twine to finish it off. We also sponged around all the edges of the wreath and bird. Oh almost forgot the little punch Boho Blossoms. Very nice card, and fun to make.
Snowman was very simple, White, Black and Tangerine Tango card stock, the eyes are punched with 3/4″ circle, the nose cut free hand, and the mouth drawn free hand. Red ink on a sponge for the cheeks and the white Chalk Marker to draw white in the eyes and on the nose. Red ribbon and a small tag to finish him up! It is a little scary when you have to do something free hand, but it’s good to have to do sometime. Very Cute!
It was a PARRTY! so much fun. We made five cards, envelopes and liners too!
Cute card using DSP scraps and circle punch, add a flower to make the card pop!
This is a cute card: using Modern Medley (DSP) very pretty paper #126926, Doilies, Butterfly Punch, Pearls, Hello Lovely stamp set #130243, Decorative Label Punch #120907. Made this card with some friends, we have so much fun when we get together.
